Biography

Dr Roshini Murugupillai is a Senior Lecturer (Gr II) in the Department of Clinical Sciences, Faculty of Health-Care Sciences, Eastern University, Sri Lanka. She is an alumnus of Manipal College of Medical Sciences, Pokhara, Nepal. She joined the faculty as a Lecturer in 2008. She obtained her PhD in University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Her research interests include core outcome set (COS) development, epilepsy, clinical pharmacology and medical education. She pioneered problem based learning and online distance learning mode at the faculty. She currently heads the Department of Medical Education & Research, Faculty of Health-Care Sciences. She also co-ordinates the postgraduate degree programmes of the faculty with Faculty of Graduate Studies, Eastern University, Sri Lanka.
